MessageMr. Chairman,

The Communist Party favours a much larger government budget, funded by significant increases in taxation on the wealthy. However, we regard this budget as well-meaning, and as representing a very incremental improvement upon the status quo. So we will vote yes, but will be hoping for much more in the future.

MessageThis proposal is disgraceful! If this passes we will seriously consider our position in government.

MessageMr Reiner should explain his position. Investing in health and education is vital. The Ministry of Trade and Industry doesn't need that much money, and we would like an explanation as to what Mr Reiner thinks it does.

Minister of Education and Culture

MessageThe AfD respect the need for further investment in health and education, but this should not come at the cost of free trade. We would encourage the government to take a different route, cutting from the unnecessarily large finance budget.

Note, AfD ministries make a net loss!

MessageAs do TGP ministries.

Free trade should be, well, free. We don't need the government to be involved with it to the tune of nearly 20 billion dolgars.

MessageThe AfD ministers care more about their own bureaucratic ministerial empires than they do about ordinary Dorvish citizens. Or even the future of the government they are supposed to be a part of...

Mr. Chairman, these AfD ministers are not in office to serve the country. They are in office merely to serve themselves. The President would be better off sacking them.

MessageWe believe that the AfD are mistaken, despite good intentions. How would a reduced trade budget do anything but reduce government intervention?

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play".
