Message | Mr. Chairman, Let me be clear that our party is not against women. We merely protect them from dangers of the battlefield as they are not genetically made to fight wars. They can serve us in other military departments like adminstrative jobs and factory jobs. Contraceptives are evil and prevent our children from being born. Therefore we want to ban them in the name of our lord. Arnold Sweindracht, TGP Chairman for the Rat |

Message | And what parts of these proposals are unconnected my fellow Rat member? They al protect the believes of religion concerning some different sectors. This is a bill for the religious. And all proposals are religious. Nothing unconnected here. Arnold Sweindracht, TGP Chairman for the Rat |

Message | I never heard Eliyahu say that women were inferior to men. It doesn't matter if you're a woman or a homosexual or transgender in the military. It matters that you are willing and able to defend your country. If you pass the requirements and evaluations, it's your choice. Käthe Grunebaum Minister of Internal Affairs |

Message | Mr. Chairman, These proposals are unfair and discriminatory. They would make it okay for a religious person to object to conscription, but not communists who object to fighting in capitalist wars against their fellow workers. They would force everyone not to use contraceptives, whether they had religious objections to them or not. This represents discrimination, both against women, who would suffer from unwanted pregnancies, and also against those who do not have religious views against contraception. They would ban women from performing roles in the military which they have served in very successfully for many, many years. Again, this is completely unnecessary, and also very harmful and discriminatory. What this bill demonstrates, once again, is that Dorvik needs a secular state and a secular political system, where religious organisations do not get to dictate our laws. Anton Weinreich General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself. |
