Message | Herr Huspresident, We would like to know how does withdrawing this nation from every conceivable treaty (which had benefited this nation) going to improve our state of affairs.? I would also like to know how the trade agreements seen here can be deemed unnecessary when the NAF benefits from them everyday? The NAF is signing off on many of this nation's capabilities, defence wise and economically. Various materials, including those necessary for the maintenance of our nuclear arsenal is dependant on various agreements seen here. The NAF seeks to destroy the decades of work various governments have poured into making this nation into what it is now and they seek to "fix the dreadful state of affairs in and outside Kazulia". But my question is: How can you fix something that is not broken? Hanne Solbakken Parliamentary Floor Leader Nasjonal Arbeiderkongress |

Message | Herr Huspresident, We have not allowed the withdrawal from all conceivable treaties. Several treaties, such as the Anti-Slavery Agreement, the Selucian Official Diplomatic Treaty, etc. will be preserved. |

Message | Herr Huspresident, Many of these treaties requires Kazulia submit economic benefit to other countries. This cannot, and absolutely shall not, be allowed to continue. The NAF will stride to put the interests of the Kazulian government first before any other nation. Franz Highsun Leader of the NAF |

Message | Herr Huspresident, The Honourable Gentlemen should read the treaties instead of simply jumping the gun on hasty generalisation. In the various free trade agreements the first article speaks about market access. And I quote to Kazulian-Coburan Trade Agreement : Retail goods to Coburan consumers from Kazulia and vice-versa shall receive a duty of 0%. Nevertheless, items sold in large quantity (bulk) through business-to-business and business-to-government shall receive a 3.5% tariff both ways if the total volume of trade for the fiscal year is not projected to reach 10 billion LOD; a 2.5% tariff both ways if the total volume of trade is projected to be 10 billion LOD to 25 billion LOD; a 1.5% tariff both ways if the total volume of trade for the fiscal year is projected to be 25 billion LOD to 50 billion LOD; and a 0% tariff both ways if the total volume of trade is projected to exceed 50 billion LOD. (Kazulian Wholesale to Cobura and Cobura Wholesale to Kazulia). The 0% duty is due to the fact that it is a free trade agreement, I stress on the term FREE TRADE. Nothing in these articles state that what the Kingdom of Kazulia proposes will not be compensated or exchanged for something in return. I call upon the honourable gentleman to take the time and read through these treaties before he makes a hasty generalisation championing a false cause of this nation submitting economic benefit to other countries, (Although noting it is a trade agreement.) It can only be assumed that the NAF does not see trade as a necessary means of keeping this nation on its feet. Such a mindset should never be welcomed. Message | Herr Huspresident, I am not sure you have understood me correctly. I spoke to you already about the ultimate refusal of the giving away of Kazulian currency and goods- yet you try to counter my words by saying that it will be "exchanged for something in return", but why would we sacrifice our own goods for inferior foreign items? Surely our goods would be better used for our own people, not foreign swine? |

Message | OOC: I would rather you not assume I have yet to read every one of these treaties- it is quite rude, and I take it as a personal offense. Assumptions lead to misinformation. |

Message | Herr Huspresident, "Inferior foreign items", the same inferior foreign item which ensures his security. Our nuclear programme (the same nuclear programme this NAF government benefits from was made from these "inferior foreign items". Yellow cake from Cobura, nuclear technology from Vanuku and Dorvik, enriched uranium from Hutori, Jelbania and Pontesi. Joint trade deals between Rildanor in-order to facilitate the joint construction of naval technology, the same naval technology which is the reason why this nation is a Great military power. The fortress Kazulia mentality in which we submit to isolationism under a closed economy will cripple not only us but the entire region. The reason for trade is not simply to sell off the resources of country as a means of selling them off sake. As clearly illustrated in the articles of some of the legislations, the interests of the nation is being placed before the other signatory nation. From the Offshore Accounts Taxation Act to Market Access for Kazulian companies (private and public) to operate in other regions with a stable foundation, we have advanced the causes of our nation. It is mentalities such as these which the NAF is displaying is what (1) decreases our nation's economic position (2) our military positions and (3) our currency's strength. Message | Herr Huspresident, It is a good practice we have that a party, as soon as it meets the conditions for registration, is entitled to speak to the parliament, even while lacking representation... yet... In this situation I appear before you here with humility, expecting to be excused if I am not fully briefed on the contents of all of these treaties. But I know that some of them are more important than others. And is it not so that many treaties we have are several hundred years old, and have not for a long... a very long... time been reviewed and assessed as to their adequacy and expediency for our present day? But this bill, as it now stands, is extremely extensive and throws treaties of so various kinds and consequences into the same grindmill. We are not alien to the need of a review, and perhaps a... shall we call it a... spring cleaning... of our diplomatic baggage, but it cannot be done in such a sweeping manner. The treaties must be reviewed and discussed in a more minute manner. It can definitely NOT be accepted that any decision of foreign policy be made until a new election has been held, so it can be made by a full parliament. This parliament is invalid, cannot represent the will of Kazulmark. Fröja Solbakken Kjerne |

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself. |
