MessageThankyou for this proposal. As it stands we would vote against. Article 2 and 4 seems overly harsh given that we should provide assistance to those less fortunate. Article 5 would appear to put limitations on tourists and foreign professional workers that would appear unnecessary and may even harm our economy. As for Article 1 surely skilled workers should be welcome?

Article 6 has some merit, although landmines are a non-discriminate weapon system and we would not support their return. However the DPD and SED are militarist in nature and might support.

MessageThank you for expressing all your concerns, we would like to address some of your concerns.

From your opinions it seems that Articles 1 and 2 are unnecessary. As such I will be striking them out. However we would like to address Article 4 on refugees. In our opinion, the refugee system to welcome all refugees regardless of reason could result in people acting as refugees coming in to seek an easier life even though conditions at home are perfectly fine. Or worse, terrorists could pose as refugees and indoctrinate our citizens into bearing arms and fighting in terror groups abroad or inciting terror attacks in Dundorf. Thus, stringent checks in to be in place to prevent such occurances from happening.

We would like to hear your opinions on Article 4.

MessageAfter reviewing it by our party, we have decided to support Article 4. Perhaps, also, the formation of Grenztruppen would be in order?

OOC: I doubt there's a law on that, but it could lead to a great RP debate over the formation of border guards. We could even talk about uniform designs.

MessageThanks FDGB, the formation of the Dundorfer Grenztruppen will be in order in the near future, although for now we could do with military presence and police.

OOC: After striking out the first two Articles, the Article on refugees is now revised to Article 3.

MessageWe support articles 1 and 3 however 2 seems unnecessary - the existing case by case basis affords government discretion to approve/deny contracts, while the proposal to sell only to allies both limits the profitability of our defence industries and is open to wide interpretation of who qualifies as an ally at any particular point in time.

MessageThanks DPD for expressing your concerns. Article 2 will be struck out based on this reasoning. What are your views on Article 3 regarding border checks?

OOC: The Article on refugees is now revised to Article 2, we would like to hear your concerns on this issue before we move into voting.

MessageWe are neutral on the issue of border control. As long as the border is still functional and not closed we are happy to support efforts to crackdown on border security.

MessageReference Article 2 (regarding refugees) Dundorf is a landlocked country and as such the KHU would assess that most refugees will stop of our one of our coastal neighbours first.

As this Bill stands the KHU will still oppose, however it looks like you'll have the votes to pass it.

MessageViewing the new revisions, the FDGB chooses to vote yes on this bill. I am glad that our opposition parties could make a respectable consensus on this matter.
