Message | Although we agree in principle with Articles 1 and 2 we would have to vote against or abstain on the principle that we support the current secular state. However we think Article 3 is a sensible opportunity to decentralise power away from the state and provide parents and schools with greater ability to manage their own affairs. |

Message | The FDGB wholeheartedly agrees with SED. These proposals will slowly eradicate Dundorf's long policy of secularism. |

Message | In line to Dundorf´s policy of secularism, we have struck out Articles 1 and 2. Now we will be proceeding into Voting Procedure. |

Message | In line with secular policy, we cannot support a measure that would see religious practices (i.e. prayer) occur in state institutions. |

Message | DPD, don´t you think by not supporting Article 3, it is seen that the government is being authoritarian in the name of secularism. The right for teachers leading prayers is theirs and not the government´s. However we would like to hear from you why your party does not support this move in liberalising our society. |

Message | There's only one article - that is to allow schools to decide whether to implement prayer in the classroom. We would argue that parents and children seeking a religious education should send their children to a religious school. There is a clear separation of church and state in Dundorf and there has been for quite a number of years. This applies to state-based and funded systems, including education. This isn't authoritarian, it's common-sense. To provide religious instruction, including but not limited to prayer, one must assume that the school itself is a religious one. Accordingly the current law is satisfactory. |

Message | Thanks DPD for your opinion. We will take that into consideration in our next bills regarding religion. |

Message | In theory this isn't really a change from the current law. Non-religious schools are unlikely to change their policy on prayer, but if they (students, teachers and parents) wished to then they could. |
