Message | For some underprivileged citizens, especially those deep in poverty, cannot afford an automobile for themselves. Free, readily-available public transport is all they have to commute to their occupation or to grocery stores. The FDGB resoundingly votes "no". |
Date | 03:51:06, November 17, 2017 CET | From | Demokratische Partei Dundorfs | To | Debating the Public Transport Bill |
Message | One might argue that the partial subsidisation proposed in the bill would provide free transport for marginalised classes (including those with disabilities, children, the elderly, and/or those on welfare) while those who can afford to pay full fare. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically |
