Message | Aisha Menchi, Whip of LP: "Mr Speaker, Expressing our opinion to this bill, my party would have supported just the article 1 and 2. We can find a compromise on this. But about the rest, we returned to the 635 seats only recently and don't recognize the necessity of less parlamentarians. And why reduce the leng of the legislature? The current lenght is reasonable to put in place reforms by part of the Governments and with the political fragmentation the formation of the governments already take more time. Your proposals to reduce the sale tax is simply a suicide.we would generate a enormous whole in the budget! a reduction that, furthermore, knowing the dynamics of the luxury market, will not generate any benefits, we would make just a gift to the highest income people, which in Istalia are already very privilaged today. We can find a compromises on the reduction of the corporate tax however. About the religious clothing, sorry but a public official shall only represent the State, before any situation and any kind of people and any citizen. They can wear their traditional-religious clothes in their spare time. Thank you" |

Message | "We agree with some of the proposals, but putting way more proposal on the same bill led to this result. We encourage Qadira Dulilah to split the proposals, I'm sure that some of them can pass smoothly. Sadly, we will vote against for now." - Andrea Martino, Republican Pact's Whip |
