Bill: Technology Act (2191)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Deltarian Nationalist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2193

Description[?]:

The work of scientists and designers should have a limited copyright protection on them. If a designer/scientist creates a new formula/software design/technique then he should be rewarded for his work through owning the rights to what he has created. We propose they should be allowed the rights for 20 years.

Random fact: In cases where players have failed to clearly and accurately reference their nation's RP laws in the "Bills under debate" section, Moderation will rule them invalid if a challenge is made to their validity.
