Bill: More Police Powers to Search Suspects and Enhance Public Safety
Details
Submitted by[?]: Haruzuterēchisuku Refonpātī
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 4306
Description[?]:
Members of the Party, It is clear to me that communists - just like their master in hiding, Comrade X - are underhanded and insidious people, making it difficult for our courageous police force to weed them out before they commit a crime. The current law regarding the police's right to search is, therefore, incongruous with public safety. We must let logic prevail and protect our people with a tightening of the current situation. All law-abiding citizens will welcome this with open arms, I am sure. Reichskanzler Leopold Nimitz |

Message | Reichskanzler, Surely the current extent of the law is sufficient? Suspicions of consorting with Comrade X, thereby engaging in seditious activity, already is reasonable grounds to search without a warrant. Surely we can suffice with simply committing more police resources to the hunt for the Communist? Theophilus, Freiherr von Geraniengau Parteimitglied |

Message | Herr Von Geraniengau, It is passed the time of trying to minimal measures in order to crush this pandemic of Communism. I agree with Herr Nimitz in this regard. All means must be used, however radical those means may be, in order to destroy utterly the Communist threat. Parteimitglied Heinrich Scholz |
