| Having permanent unemployment subsidies means that some people will not actively seek employment, and that as more people will be supported by it, less budget per capita will be realistically allocable. Our proposal is to limit the unemployment subsidy for a time equal to one quarter of the time that the person was in their last employment, accumulable if a job is found without having consumed all the subsidy time, and with a top accumulable quota of 2 years of subsidy. The subsidy amount will be enough to keep the recipient sufficiently above the poverty line. |

Old value:: All adults not supported by another person shall be guaranteed a very basic subsistence income by the government.
Current: All adults not supported by another person shall be guaranteed a reasonable, though not high, standard of living by the government.
Proposed: All adults not supported by another person shall be guaranteed a very basic subsistence income by the government. However, the provision of this is not to exceed a certian period of time.
