| After 30 long years as viceroy of Sekowo the Grand Princess Akemi I is aging. Now at 60 and having seen the end of her favored form of government - one party state- we believe that it may be time for her to step down We therefore must find a solution to the monarchy question: We hereby proposing an all-party committee to debate the future of the monarchy as a whole the options to be discussed are 1. Status-Quo- Hayashi Katsuo shall take the throne as Grand Prince Shouhei II and the current Grand Princess shall abdicate. 2. Cutting ties with Hulstria - as above however we would also be cutting ties with Hulstria and appointing Grand Prince Shouhei II as sole ruler and monarch, This would also end the Empire effectively. This would probably start a war with Hulstria 3. Creating a parliamentary republic - the monarchy would be abolished and the position of Prime Minister would take all power and be elected by the Senate. This likely would start a war with Hulstria. 4. Abolishing the position of Grand Prince/Princess and appointing the Hulstrian Empress as sole ruler of Sekowo. If this bill is passed the committee shall be formed and a debate held. Each party will have one equal vote to cast after deliberation on which form of government to adopt. Following this the option with the most votes shall be voted on and passed by the Senate. In the meantime a regency council shall be formed to govern the nation, composed of the leaders of all parties with Senate representation and the Speaker of the Senate and presided over by Empress Beatrice II. This bill requires 2/3 majority to pass due to its constitutional nature. |

| Message | Mr Speaker, We must note that we heavily prefer the status-quo, however due to at least one major party becoming anti-monarchy we believe this is necessary. It is also necessary due to the political leanings of the Grand Princess, who is very authoritarian. We again repeat that we are heavily pro monarchy. ------- Senator Honda Kiyoshi |

| Message | Dear Hosian Democrats, Although this is an internal affair in Sekowo, we do have an interested due to the fact this involves a royal family. Specfically we would like to inquire on the status of the House of Hayashi? I and my party, the Gugmin BosuDang of Dankuk, are a monarchist organization and, although we have disputes with certain other royal families(particularly leftist ones), we are committed to the ideal of the institution and seek the preservation of royal families throughout the world. We in Dankuk support the Status Quo and that Hayashi Katsuo takes the throne and are willing to lend any assistance to the Hayashi.
