Referendum on the Baltusian Declaration of Rights A referendum has been held in the Baltusia. There were 74,699,204 people with suffrage. A total of 46,009,974 votes have been cast, putting turnout at 61.59%. The question was: Article I of the Baltusian declaration of Rights is "All viable Baltusians shall be guaranteed the right to life.", should it be changed to "All Baltusians who want the right to life shall be guaranteed it."? National Results: YES - 29,597,692 NO - 16,412,282 The Referendum was won by YES. Message | OOC: I know this is a bit undesirable because with the BDGP joining just before the election, they weren't able to make their preferences known and thus a large chunk of people were unrepresented. If there is demand for it then we can hold another referendum on reversing the change at the next election so that everyone is represented. |
