MessageHate speech and criticism is a major part of what we do in the government and it only strengthens us as a society. By acknowlodging all differing opinions we give our citizens the freedom and certainty to freely express themselves and our job as representatives of the people is to listen to what they have to say.

MessageHate speech, unless it creates a clear and present danger, is free speech. Even in the name of denouncing intolerance, it would be foolish to drive agents of hate and bigotry underground; it would serve only to give their words greater potency. This act would serve to drive them out into the open, and at the same time protect the rights of every free man to speak his mind freely. We wholeheartedly support.
