Voting deadline: August 2192
Description[?]:
By allowing the use of chemicals on crops, farmers can produce more crops at a lower price. Food would then be cheaper for our citizens. We could grow more, so we would either import less or export more. In any case, it would be a good economic measure for our nation. |

Message | What happens if the country faces a similar situation to the Irish Potato Famine? Will the government stick by its "principles" and let the country face starvation and financial ruin? |

Message | And what happens if the use of Chemical pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides lead to the destruction of the Beluzian environment? Then we would be in even more dire straights without any hope of recovery in the near term, since these poisons can survive in the environment for decades. |

Message | For a reasonable proportion of agricultural ground in the World some sort of chemical fertilizer is needed to stop the utter breakdown of the soil because of the plants draining the nutrients out the soil. Take Urea - a chemical - which is now banned - but you happily allow it to be 'flushed' into the environment. Talking of "dire straights" and "poisons" is showing that you have no REAL knowledge of what you are talking about and you only wish to play on the mass hysteria caused by misinformation and deception. |

Message | I am just doing what’s best for the people. Agra Chemicals don’t damage the environment bad enough to warrant a complete ban on them. |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
