Bill: Ecology and Agriculture Act of 4309
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Democrat Union
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 4310
Description[?]:
Esteemed members of the Ecclesia, We must give more effect to the civil liberties of those possessing exotic and wild animals. It should be regulated but the conduct should not be banned. With respect to whaling, as long as there are quotas then I cannot see how there will be any adverse impacts to the ecology of the sea life. They should be treated analogously to fish. Doing so will help stimulate industry as well. We also believe that the pollution standards should be more moderate because making the restrictions too excessive will hurt our economy and those who have jobs interconnected with potentially environmentally damaging industries. These industries should be discouraged but there will be time reserved to facilitate a transition into more environmentally sustainable industries. In regards to farm size and forest management, the government should take a small step back and not interfere with farm sizes and provide more efficient job opportunities in the forestries. Zahra George (Minister of Environment and Tourism) and John Stonewall (Minister of Food and Agriculture) |

Message | Esteemed members of the Ecclesia, We are still proposing regulation. All we are doing is saying it is not impossible to own exotic or wild animals. A blanket ban goes against the principles of judicial review. Zahra George, Minister of Environment and Tourism |
