Description[?]:
We now proclaim that all land and property belonging to Class C citizens, apart from actual residential housing, may be seized by the state and converted into farm land as part of our bid to create a self-sustaining agricultural economy in Hulstria. The process of seizing the land will be carried out by the regional agricultural administrators I have appointed in each principality and enforced by the state police. Any building or equipment on these plots will be seized too and either utilised, or the relevant materials recycled for use by the state. As we must concentrate on pumping more funding into our war economy we cannot afford to compensate for these compulsory purchases. We may look at ways to offer some compensation after the conflict is ended for those Class C citizens who show patriotism during the coming war but this cannot be promised. Random fact: When your party holds the foreign affairs department, you can create new treaties. However, before writing anything new, it is a good idea to search for existing treaties which already accomplish what you desire. |
