| A nation where trade unions have to vote to strike is disgusting. They are an organization of workers who have come together to achieve common goals such as protecting the integrity of its trade, improving safety standards, achieving higher pay and benefits such as health care and retirement, increasing the number of employees an employer assigns to complete the work, and better working conditions. Having them to vote to go to strike delegitimises their purpose all together, as they are following the orders of the government when making their decisions, not their own orders. This law must be reversed |

Old value:: Trade unions must by law hold a ballot of all members before going on strike, majority approval of those that vote is needed from its members.
Current: Trade unions must by law hold a ballot of all members before going on strike, a majority of all members, regardless of if they vote or not must approve the strike action.
Proposed: Trade unions are not required by law to hold a ballot before striking.
