According to an opinion poll carried out in September 4309 in the Republic, majority of respondents believe that police officers should only carry non-lethal weapons. We propose that there should be a change in our policy to ensure increased safety and security in the Republic.

MessageThe poll mentioned by the party only shows a 29% support for the carry of non-lethal weapons, which on the other hand means that 71% of the responders support the armament of the police with weapons.
Furthermore since the military and the police are so interconnected it can hardly be expected of the soldiers not to carry guns.
