Description[?]:
We believe that we must make some changes during Wartime to adequately protect our citizens. Article 1 we feel should be obvious, and should be in place to protect our citizens during times of war. Article 2 calls for more intense security checks at our nation's borders to maintain law and order. We believe that this our borders should stay free and open, however during times of war we must not be naive and take at least some precaution by thouroughly checking visitors. We would like to stress that while we may like Article 1 to be in effect at all times, we do not wish for Article 2 to be permanent, just in effect during the course of this war. |

Message | Herr Huspresident, We vote no to this resolution, not because we do not recognize the need for shelter provisions, but for that we already drafted our bill concerning this, which devolves the responsibility to the local councils, who shall be better appropriated to assess the specific needs for their respective regions. As regards article 2, unless defence minister Tormod Reinertsen has anything to report to the contrary, we think the situation on our borders is under control, so that no stricter arrangements than what we already have installed are necessary. -Eivind Andersen (Kj) |
