Message | The Libertarian Socialist Party thinks that we shouldn't register "domestic" animals, firstly because that's treating them as objects or slaves, and secondly, because the government shouldn't have any right to say if we are able to have that animal as a pet. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Are the Libertarian Socialists seriously suggesting labelling animals as domesticated is the same as calling them slaves? As for their second concern, the proposed laws would not lead to the government saying which pets people can or cannot keep. John Miller Leader of the National Democratic Party |

Message | If you register something, you are technically defying the freedom of that living being. It's your family's property, not the government's property, so there's no need on registering them for any reason. If a family wants to live with a wild animal, it should be their problem (and obviously, everyone could help them to keep them safe, but there's no need on registering them and saying what animals are able to be called domestic and which not). |

Message | Mr. Speaker, This is not a bill that will change the law concerning keeping a wild animal as a pet. This bill will simply ensure that all animals can be kept safe by animal welfare organisations. John Miller Leader of the National Democratic Party |

Message | I mean that you can't throw away their freedom by "keeping them safe by animal welfare organisations", we personally think that keeping them safe is a threat to their liberty as well as making experiments using their bodies. And if there are wild animals, it's because they should stay at their own home, a desert, a jungle... 'Domestic' animals are ready to be in a city full of people and socialize with other people. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Keeping animals safe by rescuing them from abusive owners is not a threat to their liberty whatsoever. John Miller Leader of the National Democratic Party |
