Description[?]:
I welcome the state representatives to Villita. Before the election, I stated that whatever the result there would be a meeting of all the State Governments to discuss the separatist threat from Castella. As the current Prime Minister I shall chair this meeting and I invite all State Governors and parties to state their position and convey their thoughts on this matter. We as Baltusians must remain united as a people and in our underlying principles of human rights and democracy in order to combat this threat - a threat to the very structure of this great nation. Yes, everyone should be allowed to express their opinion, and I in no way wish to prevent that. But we must do so in a way that recognises the concerns of all involved, whether that be those who don't want independence or those who do. Such an action must be approved through democratic means; this move, being a significant event nationally, must be approved by the Baltusian legislature - this Congress - to be lawful. That has not happened. I will do my best to ensure Castella remains part of Baltusia, this nation that I love, but it's important that those who share my view work together on this. I will now welcome views from the State Governments and party representatives. Hollis Overton Prime Minister of Baltusia |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
Random quote: "Soldiers who are not afraid of guns, bombs, capture, torture or death say they are afraid of homosexuals. Clearly we should not be used as soldiers; we should be used as weapons." - Letter to the editor, the Advocate |
