| Legislation establishing a uniform system of government across Saridan. Kabili Jones, Saridan National Party leader Article 1 (Provinces): -Saridan shall be divided into five provinces -Each province shall have a Provincial Assembly, which shall legislate in policy areas dedicated to it by the national government -Each Provincial Assembly shall have a Speaker, drawn from the plurality party -The composition of a Provincial Assembly shall be determined by the result of national legislative elections Article 2 (Municipalities): -Each province shall be further broken down into municipalities -Municipal borders shall be drawn by an independent commission appointed for that purpose (OOC: I will do this) -Each municipality shall directly elect a mayor, who will appoint a cabinet to manage local affairs -Municipal governments shall deal with policy areas dedicated to them by national and provincial governments |
