Bill: Telamon Education Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Telamon Social Democrats

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 4315

Description[?]:

An Act to restructure the education system of Telamonia by mandating that a formative education is required for all Telamonian youth. If parents wish to opt out of an in-school education, they are required to provide home-schooling for their children. This Act will also provide fully a system of nurseries and pre-school education facilities for Telamonian parents who wish to enroll their children in pre-formative education. Finally, this Act will allow non-contact discipline of students (such as detentions, suspensions, and expulsions). This Act affirms the previous stance that teachers are strictly prohibited from engaging in contact discipline, such as striking a student.
