Message | Mr. Marshall, We drafted this bill in reaction. In reaction to very irresponsible actions of our government, which threaten our country’s safety. We already told to Prime Minister, that for us it doesn’t matter, if nuclear weapon will be used or not. Having weapons of mass destruction, also only with the intention of increasing our international position, is fundamentally unethical. We agree that it’s hard to be really safe, while we don’t have some type of military potential and countries around us have it. But you can’t put fire out using another fire. Our duty to the people of Varuzia is to demand nueclear disarmament by treaties, so people here and in whole Terra are free from danger and fear. Prime Minister, at the very beginnig of this parliamentary term your party drafted bill to prohibit landmines. We supported it, of course. But how is it possible, that our country, while prohibiting landmines, allowes chemical and biological weapons? Let me be clear, Mr. Marshall, poisoning and infecting people are the most disguisting war crime. They are crime against humanity and so these types of weapn should be not produced, stored or used along with nuclear weapons. Member of the Presidium of the Valruzian Party of Working People, Stanisława Kotań |

Message | Mr. Marshall, I hope the WPLP did not think the government or the Party of National Coalition would support this dangerous, irresponsible and contradictory with the meaning of safety proposal. Irresponsible would be to disarm ourselves and limit our capabilities. This, Mr. Marshall, is the very best example of an irresponsible action. A proposal aimed at significantly reducing the nation's capability to protect itself. Protect itself from the outside threat. Mr. Marshall, correct me if I am wrong, but it seems like Mrs. Kotań, is naive, believing that it is possible to achieve full nuclear disarmament today. In times of civil war in Hulstria, refugee crisis in Majatra and instabilities all across the Dovani continent. That's why we cannot allow ourselves for limiting out capabilities. And finally, Mr. Marshall, I want to once again, reassure the members of the WPLP that nobody is going to war to drop nuclear bombs left and right. The Nuclear Weaponry System is the best possible deterrent for outside threat there is today, I repeat deterrent. Deterrent which would be used only as the option of last resort. Our government is committed to establishing a worldwide standard of resolving all diplomatic disputes with diplomatic measures. And thinking that nuclear arms pose a threat to the security of our nation is naive and irresponsible. That's why Mr. Marshall, Distinguished Deputies to the Sejm, Valruzia will proceed with its Nuclear Programme to better secure the interest the Valruzian People and to secure our allies. Allies which in the past secured us and our interests. Robert Tomczyk, Prime Minister of Valruzia. |
