MessageWhile the national anthem and motto may appear to be strange, they have been integral parts of Lodamunian heritage, established and venerated for decades.

'Probably' was added to none sometime in the mid 21st century because of Lodamun's desire to not conform with the other countries with none as their national anthem. The motto pays homage to former President-Councillor Damien Vrylar, famous and much maligned for his baldness and horrendous uglyness became a target for many jokes and displayed a fantastic sense of humour.

I quote a news report from the 2115 Olympic Games:

"He did not expect to win many events, but the sprinter from the Kregon mountains was thrilled to be here in Champion. A quick balloon ride from his home village after a solemn send-off by the local Clan Mothers and a drunken party with his mates, then on to Lindar Valley. Just one border to cross, that was handy.

And the Olympics! It was incredible, really: people of all nations, all tribes, all ethnicities, meeting on the playing field. The sprinter had heard talk of war clouds in the far south, but this was where the action was at: right in the middle of Terra, meeting in athletic combat instead of war. The Olympics were all about peace and sportsmanship. Good thing, that.

The sprinter was proud to be one of those marching behind Lodamun's green banner in the opening ceremonies. The people from all countries, carrying their flags and singing their anthems. It was a bit odd to hear the silence when Lodamun's anthem should have been sung, if only Lodamun had an anthem. The sprinter chuckled as he remembered watching those idiots in the Citizens Assembly waste hour after hour on the anthem question. The Fair Hills? Bohemian Rhapsody? Who cared, really?

Into the silence, the sprinter shouted: "Probably none!" He whipped off his cap, to reveal his bald head. More aerodynamic, he figured. If the race was worth running, it was worth running baldly."

Messagequite odd... Don't really like the motto, the anthem we can do away with since it's a piece of socialist propoganda, unless it's a satire of socialism gone awry, either way, it can go. So no on 6, lukewarm yes on 1, support all others.

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play.
