Description[?]:
The authoritarian regime in Seluciae is persecuting Yeudi minorities in the country. The government thought at first that the crisis will not last for long and we could solve it diplomatically, but we have realized that this fascist regime does not seem to give up his persecution of civilians. And since we are a country that has already experienced persecution by the former regime, we know exactly what it means to be humiliated by the government only because you are different. Therefore, Ahmadi party is proposing to make a budget of 80,000,000,000 PON in order to: - Build a camp to welcome refugees in the city of Victoria in Bazileum region, a camp which will be highly equipped with all what our guests may need (Medical equipment, food... ) - Monitor the western coast of our country 24/24 - 7/7 in order to rescue people who are trying to survive from drowning in the sea. - Have a medical staff of 36 doctors ready to move to Western Seluciae (If we guarantee their safety, or if a Buffer zone is created). We hope this bill to pass as soon as possible. |

Message | The government of Selucia would like to inform Pontesi of changes occuring within Selucia. At this time, the Selucian senate is debating on a bill which will make significant changes to the government's position on religion. The bill will no longer make membership to Hosianism mandatory and allow other religious groups, such as the Ahmadis, to follow their faith without it being illegal. We can assure the safety of Ahmadis within Selucia, as you asked us to do before. We would also like to address your statement that "you have realized that the Fascist Regime does not seem to give up on its persecution of civilians." This upsets us, as we have never persecuted all Selucian people. The Fascist Regime's taget was the Yeudi ethnic group, which has not been particularly kind to the Ahmadis when one looks back into the history of conflict between the two religions. If you wish to see the bill, you may view the Selucian senate and its debate on the bill titled: Dissolution of Hosianism as the only recognized religion. We no longer believe this bill and the aid it would provide will be necessary. We hope for a prosperous and friendly relationship between our two nations. Message | Greetings! When we mentioned that the Selucian regime is persecuting civilians, we meant both Ahmadi and Yeudi, since our government is speaking in the name of both religions (10% of our citizens are Yeudi). Our government wants a clarification about this sentence "The persecution of Yeudis will most certainly not halt, but we want to emphasize that the issue is with the Yeudi ethnicity and not just Yeudism.", because we cannot believe that it is enough to make the main religion voluntary when you are still persecuting a whole ethnic group! ------------- Brahim Metwali Minister of foreign affairs The Republic of Pontesi |
