Message | Really that is the point of rider bills. You weigh whether what you don't agree with against what you do. |
Date | 16:54:20, March 01, 2006 CET | From | Bachelor Party | To | Debating the The Anarchistic Platform: Removal of Government Powers |
Message | We prefer that the federal government not establish blanket nationwide policies regarding all these matters, wiht the exception of industrial pollutants, which we consider to be a issue that crosses prefectural boundaries. However, we do wish the prefects to retain local control over such issues as they apply within their own boundaries. We are not complete anarchists, but we believe that the government closest to the government best serves the people on domestic issues of local concern. Therefore we must oppose this bill. |

Random quote: "I worked at a factory owned by Germans, at coal pits owned by Frenchmen, and at a chemical plant owned by Belgians. There I discovered something about capitalists. They are all alike, whatever the nationality. All they wanted from me was the most work for the least money that kept me alive. So I became a communist." - Nikita Khrushchev |
