| Message | OOC: 643 was the "traditional" number we invented because 750 was ugly and only used by dictatorships. Larger legislatures are better for us, I think, because we were going to use MMP and half the legislature would be district seats after the German model. That'd make no sense in a smaller legislature. Also, more room for backbench shenanigans and regional differences that are interesting but do not become a pain (for example, I could easily RP arch-conservatives in the HDV). |
