Description[?]:
Party Security Bill II Seeing the rise of the fascist Alternative für Dundorf as a threat to the VKPD's ideals, we see this as probable cause for reintroducing this bill. We again include the proposal for each party to form paramilitary organizations, but five strict regulations have been proposed by our party in this description. Section I— -A party has the right to develop semi-independent security forces for reasons which it deems necessary. However, before formation, the party must register said security force with the national government and provide a reasonable explanation for said implementation of security forces. Section II— -It is forbidden to equip security forces with actual firearms in normal circumstances, with an exception given to extreme cases (more detail outlined in Section V). This is to appease those parties who want to continue peace throughout Dundorf. The VKPD has attached a small list of items that would be considered suitable for use when a security alert arises. —Tasers, stun guns —Mace, Pepper spray —Lightweight batons Section III— -Security forces may only be present at each party's respective headquarters (both inside and out), conferences, functions, and the Bundestag, but set numbers of personnel present are capped at 5 members present in the area of which their party represents in the Bundestag. Section IV— -These forces receive training equivalent to that of local police forces, and not the military. If a party is found to have been consulting with members of the military for training, they will be forbidden from assembling a security force and have their equipment redistributed to local police departments. Section V— -In the final proposal, if an extreme event has occurred (Ex: Terrorist attack at a party gathering, assassination of a party individual, etc.), a party's security force can request to arm themselves with actual firearms. However, these weapons cannot be larger or more powerful than a pistol. To equip their security force with firearms, these two steps must be satisfied: 1. A party has suffered an attack or an assassination of a high-ranking party official, as outlined above. 2. The party must report this to the local police department and promptly to the Minister of Defense. The Minister of Defense will view the information, and decide whether the severity of the situation shall merit the arming of a party's security force personnel with light weaponry. The VKPD has thought long about this proposal. We encourage parties to think of changes to the sections and come to a consensus on this bill. The DPD, whom previously denied this bill due to lack of a probable cause, cannot argue now about having a reasonable cause for the reintroduction to this bill. |
