Message | Mr Speaker, I rise to speak on Article Four of this legislation. At the present time the Constitution allows for equal representation of each State in our nation, this ignores the very pressing reality of the populations within each state. How can it be right that every state gets 20 seats if one state has a smaller population than the other? The proportional algorithm my party proposes shall see to it that every citizen has one vote that is as equal as possible to all other citizens' votes. |

Message | Mr Speaker, This legislation would be supported by the KLP if it were not for the desire to overstuff this chamber by increasing the number of MPs sevenfold. We believe in expanding democracy Mr Speaker, but not to the point where it is farcical. While we support other measures proposed, and as such will be voting in favour of them in other legislation proposed by various other caucuses, we will be rejecting this proposed amendment to the Constitution. |

Message | I do not want any use of nobility to be allowed in this country. Also, I belive 750 seats is far too many |
