Bill: Repeal of Redundant Treaty Resolution
Details
Submitted by[?]: Solentian Secular Realist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 4324
Description[?]:
Recognizing that three treaties exist solely between Solentia and Saridan: 1) Saridan and Solentia Friendship Treaty of April 4138 (http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=3535) 2) Solentia-Sarisan Bilateral Friendship & Trade Agreement of May 4224 (http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=3764) AND 3) Support for Saridan of October 4140 (http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=3540); and Recognizing that treaty #3 Support for Saridan of October 4140 was drafted without the intent of Solentia being the sole signatory; further Recognizing that treaty #3 Support for Saridan of October 4140 is mostly redundant with the other two ratified treaties; also Recognizing that treaty #3 Support for Saridan of October 4140 unnecessarily positions Solentia as an implied protectorate of Saridan; finally Recognizing that an updated and more professional version of treaty #3 Support for Saridan of October 4140 exists in the form of Anti Globalist Alliance (AGA) of 4262 (http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=3859) which is available should we wish to ratify in the future, and that being signatory to redundant treaties provides no benefit to Solentia though could potentially be used against our country and the interests of its constituents and government; We resolve to REPEAL treaty #3 Support for Saridan of October 4140. |

Random fact: Players are expected to behave in a courteous, co-operative manner and make a reasonable effort to act with the consent of all players involved, even where the rules do not make consent strictly necessary. In particular, players have a responsibility to take reasonable care that other players are not misinformed either about the role-play or the Game Rules. |
