Message | Mr. Speaker, It all begins with respecting the animals that live side by side with us. This is just one of the many bills to follow that will focus on making our nation completely Eco friendly. We have to start respecting our nature. We have to start taking it seriously. While our current laws protect the environment somewhat we have to take it further and this is the first step in doing so. Thank you. Teobaldo Tavani, President of the CDF |

Message | Saajid al-Rassi, PNP Leader, PNI/PNP Whip, For a longer period of time now, it was the PNI and PNP which stood up for the environment in Istalia. However, the environment coexists with humans, we cannot take one away from the other - unless you want to kill us all that is. We fully agree with article 2 concerning registering animals with the local government and have been trying to push it through for years now. However, our approaches further seem to differ as the PNP, and the PNI, believes that a regulated private sector will take care of our planet than a government which through forbidding everything achieves nothing but the creation of a black market. Name me one good reason why private people, who truly love the animals, can not hold them? Especially the endangered ones as they can be protected and shielded in private hands as we assume that a person who gets an endangered animal can clearly afford it. Hence, despite us thinking the same way, our paths of getting there are too different which is why we will have to vote against. Thank you |
