MessageOOC: Why would we support an Augustan nationalist regime that wants to retcon nearly 1,000 years of Coburan history and dismantle a critical part of Hawu heritage? I sent you a copy of their SC campaign form letter and without even acknowledging that you received it, you rush this to vote. The Augustan nationalists haven't even attempted to contact Hawu about maintaining or reviving imperial and diplomatic ties despite the fact that they are clearly aware of the deep historical relationship because they invoked it in their campaign letter. Besides that, have you even bothered giving the Istalian government a warning that you intend to withdraw Hawu support from their SC delegation? Did you tell them your reasons why and give them a chance to respond and possibly correct whatever problems you have with their SC work? Istalia has been a consistent and steadfast friend of Hawu and imperial interests for a century. Why are you trashing that in favor of Augustan nationalists who want to destroy Hawu's backstory?

Sorry for going OOC, I don't have time to write in-character right now. The bottom line is that you are pursuing an arbitrary foreign policy without consulting the Gathering or our allies and without any discernible benefit for Hawu Mumenhes.

MessageOCC: And btw, you should know that my party favors more democratic and republican values instead of imperial ones. And what do you mean by Augustan nationalists?

MessageOOC: Everybody knew that about your party the moment you joined the country because you wrote it in your party description. What on earth does that have to do with consulting the LEGISLATURE of YOUR COUNTRY before trying to help a FOREIGN country do something that actually undermines the interests of YOUR OWN COUNTRY?

Number 2, have you ever read up on the history of my party? Have you read up on how the Hawu monarchy came about? You say you 'favor more democratic and republican' values -- and so you want to tell the whole world that you plan to dismantle Hawu's government system and monarchy which are CHOSEN IN DEMOCRATIC ELECTIONS EVERY 2 to 6 YEARS?!

Number 3, Augustan nationalists are the Coburan party you gave Hawu's Security Council vote to. They have been on a hundred-year mission to change Cobura from its African culture back to the Greek culture that was imposed on Cobura when it was invaded and occupied by Zardic Empire. The fact that you don't know that and didn't bother to find out before your arbitrary foreign policy changes demonstrates precisely why it makes sense to CONSULT your OWN countrymen before embarrassing yourself and your country in front of the whole world.

When you joined Hawu, me and Allvince discussed your arrival privately and we were both excited to have you here because you were active and showed respect for Hawu history and culture by following the Parliamentary Rules of Order in your bill titles. Allvince and I consulted with eachother before deciding to help you get more seats and gain a more powerful and influential role in the government and country. I consulted with you every step of the way during your transition from a minor 3rd party to the presidency. We did all these things for you because you WANT to join and participate in Hawu as long as they are willing to respect the time and effort other players have put into the country. We thought that you were a considerate player who wouldn't pretend 1,000 years of in-game work we and other players have put into building these countries and this world simply stopped existing because "my party favors more democratic and republican values." I am upset that we were so wrong about you. But don't worry -- your true colors are clear now and I won't be upset for long.

MessageOOC: Just so you know, I'm not immediately going to replace the government, since it will damage our relations with Cobura and Talmoria, although Cobura is already a republic and is neutral on the issue. And since the wiki is around 300 years out-of-date, I didn't pay much attention to it. But now I will, but it will take a while since I'm a bit busy today.

MessageOOC: You're not going to change the government at all. I'm going to make sure you don't. And if you try, I'm going to make sure you never win another election in Hawu again.

Consult with me like I consulted with you when I had the majority please. Let's work together, not against eachother. We want you to play here -- you're a good and active player and a nice guy or girl. But we can't help you if you pretend other players' RPs never happened.

Message"OOC: And didn't you say that it was illegal to run against the head of government?"

Yes I did. It's unconstitutional. But you said in your press statement that your party is planning to amend the constitution. If you do that, all bets are off. I will never let you win another election.

MessageOOC: We weren't going to do it just immediately, we are only going to do it if Cobura and Talmora also support it. If one of them doesn't we won't do anything unless they support it in future. And Augustans and Irkawans make up 31% of the Coburan population. So, unless the other cultures are being discriminated, we do not oppose it.

MessageOOC: I did message him noting the high cultural diversity in Cobura and told him that unless he discriminates any of the cultures, we are neutral on the issue.

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining.
