ToDebating the Assembly Act of 4324
MessageThe Klara Sablo will support this act, but as written we consider them equivalent. The state only declares a state of emergency in times of grave insurgency, natural disaster or perhaps foreign invasion. Thus the right of assembly is essentially universally protect except in situations where it poses a security risk to participants or bystanders. In recent memorable history (and particularly since the formation of the Klara Sablo), this has not been an issue. We only see this as symbolic, as this act protects the right to assemble in all circumstances except when an emergency regarding public safety arises. If passed, we will accept the change but my ministry will essentially interpret it as re-affirming the status quo.

Random fact: RP laws follow the same passing rules as in-game variable laws. Laws that are not of a constitutional nature require a simple majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. Laws that are of a constitutional nature require a 2/3 majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. RP laws may be abolished a simple majority vote this applies to ANY RP law.

Random quote: "We must show that liberty is not merely one particular value but that it is the source and condition of most moral values. What a free society offers to the individual is much more than what he would be able to do if only he were free. We can therefore not fully appreciate the value of freedom until we know how a society of free men as a whole differs from one in which unfreedom prevails." - Friedrich August Hayek
