This is excessive, but we would like to work on several environmental projects with you. Article 2 and 6 and maybe by extension 10.

MessageParty member Federico Valentini,

I encourage all parties to support this bill as it will be the first step in creating an ecologically friendly Istalia. Since our previous proposal may have been too radical for some parties, we have decided to split our original piece of legislation into multiple acts. This first of which here is dedicated to protecting exotic animals, creating a higher welfare standard for livestock, and limiting the research that can be done to animals.

MessageMario Zanussi, ULD General Secretary,

Although we agree that animals must be protected, this bill is excessive and will have a negative impact on our innovativeness.

Mr. Zanussi,

In what ways would this bill have a negative impact on our ability to innovate? In what ways is it morally just to allow companies to needlessly test and kill animals for cosmetic products? We cannot simply allow companies to do as they wish when it comes to research and treatment of animals. It is clear that based on your stance against the bill you do not care about the welfare of animals, rather you only care about how full are the pockets of the corporations which abuse these animals.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The comment made by the ULD is outragous. Does torturing and disrespecting our planet and its lifeforms impact our ability to innovate? It is just sick to say something like that. We fully agree with this bill and vote in favour.

We agree with articles 2 and 4 whilst disagree with the excessive articles 1 and 3, because firstly the wellbeing of humans surpasses any animal, and the third one we believe that private people loving animals are no worse than your zoological institutions.
