Bill: Nomination for Security Council Seat A
Details
Submitted by[?]: Solentian Secular Realist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 4327
Description[?]:
Currently, Solentia is supporting Dorvik for Security Council Seat A. Dorvik is currently in the midst of a power struggle with Fascist parties. This is evidenced by these recent Bills: The Conservative Act (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=551699) and The Religion Act (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=551845). The Conservative Act was defeated by three votes, but Dorvische Sozialistische Union no longer holds their seats in Dorvik. The Religion Act passed without their needed opposition. Many of us in the Solentian Social Republic can relate to these struggles and we believe it is in the best interests of Terra as a whole to prevent a Fascist state from obtaining a seat on the Security Council. Valruzia has sent to our President's desk a nomination for Malivia to replace Dorvik as Malivia has proven in the past that it respects the highest standards of international relations. We stand in solidarity with them. |
