| We believe that all people have the right to decide what they put into their bodies, but moreover we believe that the criminalisation of cannabis -- especially when only applied to certain provinces -- is completely useless. It is less that a black market appears but more that a black market is actively advertising itself. You can see it on every street corner, and this is only amplified by the fact that it is available in some provinces but not others -- it's so easy to smuggle. Cannabis has been shown not to damage health typically anywhere near as much as alcohol and nobody has ever overdosed on it. What's the problem? |
