MessageMr Speaker,

It is true that we, as a party, are against international treaties and bodies which constrain the ability for the democratically elected representative of the Pontesi people to make their own laws. It is up to us - the democratically elected representative of the people - to make the laws which apply here, not remote unelected international bureaucrats.

However, that is not to say that we spurn international cooperation. Far from it! We are delighted to work with other nations where, as in the case here, there is mutual benefits and the sovereignity of the Pontesi nation is not constrained.

Is there nothing that the PPPP won't complain about? Can't they even get behind enjoying a good game of rugby without whining? It's frankly remarkable that they are voting against this bill.
