Description[?]:
Our long-term third-world allies have called on Dorvik to help: but the government is a far-right, illegal government fighting a strong guerrilla coalition of opponents. We, the PFG, demand to know the President and Foreign Minister’s position. OOC: forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=7274&p=127160#p127160 |

Message | Yes. Our allies in Statrica, with whom I’m sure you’re aware we have had an ancient friendship, have called on us to assist the government in putting down what it has called a ‘rebellion’: yet, with their opponents merely fighting against a President that took power in a coup, and one of a far-right Party, this obviously draws concerns. Leopoldina Schneider PFG Leader OOC: Basically, the Monarchist Party (in power in Statrica, a Third-World country I just took control of) has become something of a dictatorship, fighting against a rebellion independence movement, and the independence movement’s sort-of friends in the Populist-Socialist alliance, who are controlled by the other parties. Take a quick skim through the first few posts in the linked forum for more specific details: obviously, a neutral position also makes sense and if nobody wants to RP this give me a shout and I’ll take it down haha. |

Message | The current situation in Statrica is frankly untenable and a humanitarian crisis. While we continue to recognise the independence referendum that took place as illegal as that is an internal matter for Statrica. What we cannot except is the extraordinary and dictatorial like powers the President has been granted to 'handle' the crisis. We will aim to work closely with our allies throughout Terra to hopefully cease the bloodshed and come to a diplomatic and peaceful end to the conflict, we are as of yet unwilling to commit armed soldiers to this situation as it could further worsen the situation. Message | A fantastic solution. We recommend supporting the Socialist-Populist Alliance specifically, possibly funding it and arming it. This, we believe, is the only solution. If the parties will accept peace, let them do so! But this seems unlikely. Thank you for your response Minister. Leopoldina Schneider PFG Minister |
