Message | Mdm. Speaker, We would prefer this be delegated to local governments, we still prefer the proposed alternative, but we will propose localization if the proposal moves forward. - Lyn Kopp Chancellor of the Kingdom of Hutori Ambassador of the Ataraxian Confederation |

Message | Mdm. Speaker, Why does the Chancellor prefer the localization of the covering of social security contributions? In what way would this be superior to current proposed policy? - Daniel Burns Leader of the Social Union |

Message | Mdm. Speaker We stand with the Social Union here. Why should large enterprises and employers be expected to cover employee payroll contributions to their pensions, especially if companies are about to have absolutely zero Corporate Tax once the Ataraxians finish gutting the Foreign and Internal Affairs and Defence budgets? Message | Mdm. Speaker, We believe in local autonomy because it enhances the voices of marginalized groups and improves the amount of control one can have over their own community. If all municipalities want this, they can, but we shouldn't force it upon them. - Lyn Kopp Chancellor of the Kingdom of Hutori Ambassador of the Ataraxian Confederation |

Message | Mdm. Speaker This has nothing to do with Munciplaties and governments. This is entirely about employers, including NATIONAL employer because, despite the Chancellor doing her damnedest to devolve the government, large national companies will exist. Why should employers have to deal with a litany of possibly different payroll laws rather then a single simple one? Message | Mdm. Speaker, We agree with the Royalists on this issue. While we support local autonomy, such autonomy should not be used to sacrifice the well being of the Hutorian people. What the Chancellor is doing is essentially abolishing the national government of our nation. And in regards to the argument that local governance is needed to support the voices of marginalized groups, which is correct in some ways, the fact still is that without a national government to protect all Hutorians, local governments could easily silence the most marginalized members of our society. A balance must be carefully brought forth between local and national governance, something that the Chancellor is not providing. - Daniel Burns Leader of the Social Union |
