Bill: Acceptable Standards Act

Voting deadline: August 2194

While the right to research and construct nuclear weapons may or may not exist, there certainly should be no need to research or construct chemical and biological weapons. The use of these weapons would be catastrophic to all of Terra, and would eventually harm our own nation. |

Message | "The use of these weapons would be catastrophic to all of Terra" ...and nuclear weapons wouldn't be? We are just reserving our right to defend our nation by any means necessary. |

Message | Nuclear weapons may indeed be catastrophic to all of Terra, that's why we support at minimum the right only to use them in retaliation for attacks (eventually we will have enough votes to out and out ban them). Chemical and biological weapons, however, are far more dangerous because virus and new germs will definitely spread quickly beyond their original target, and they will eventually come to hurt the people of Rildanor and our enemies alike. |

Message | They are a last resort if we are already doomed. The fact that we will use them if we have to will hopefully prevent us being doomed. |
