| We need to talk about the political state of Luthori. Of late, the country has been neglected by players who come and go or who come, take a right-wing position to win lots of seats, and then don't bother logging in again. The inactivity in this country is depressing, especially since historically Luthori has been a leading superpower. How long have we been without an effective government? How many early elections have we had recently? We can't even complete a full term without someone falling inactive or going elsewhere. We need to get our act together because this is seriously affecting Luthori's prestige and the playing experience here. Luthori shouldn't simply be a right-wing waste bin for people to take advantage of. |

| Message | Cross Movement and SDP here, The state of Luthori really is bad - looking through our history, I don't think there's ever been a period of decline as bad as this. We've had no interest from most players in posting on the forums or interacting with other nations whatsoever. The only reason we don't still have Emperors Rick Rai and Jamie Jamesson on the throne is because the guy behind all those parties forgot to log in. If we're actually going to revive Luthori, we need serious changes to be made. The cultural protocols still have the date as the mid 3900s. We've gone from being a regional power, already a significant drop from us once being a superpower, to being a middle power in the latest RP team rankings. Personally I'd suggest a two-day inactivation policy, sending welcome messages to arriving parties linking them to tutorials and explaining what Luthori is, and a policy that allows us to inactivate parties who refuse to take part in roleplay after being asked multiple time. If we're going to return to greatness, we need frequent news posts from all parties, we need governments to post about their plans for the economy and military and roleplay them out, and we need involvement in the World Congress. |

| Message | I find this a little ironic coming from a party which appears to have last competed in an election over 50 game years ago and only lasted just over 2 game years before leaving. This is symbolic of the problem. Players are coming, pandering to the right because they know Luthori, and then disappearing after a few elections. Its extremely destabilising. Its frustrating for me as a left-wing party too because of late I have been the most active here yet I have no chance at all of winning enough seats to form a government. The cultural protocols and RPing have nothing to do with the main problem which is people arriving, not logging in or not proposing any bills, and then leaving after 3 elections when they've got bored of being the largest party each time. We need players who propose bills, debate and most importantly, stay here for significant periods. I will take up your welcome message idea, though. Heck, even now we still have a party in government that was last active 14 days ago. I can't remember ever seeing a government proposing a budget here nor a party engaging in significant debate. Its been so bad recently that I've been proposing and passing bills without opposition despite only havng 54 seats! |

| Message | It's not so much Luthori being right-wing as Luthori being socially conservative - a while back I think we had a Hosian socialist party win an election. RPing parties generally stay around for far longer than parties which don't, but that's mainly addressing how Luthori was once a superpower and now isn't due to the refusal of most parties to post on the forums. I think also setting up a Luthori Discord server might be a good idea to encourage communication and roleplaying between parties. Quite a few other nations have them. I'm not Maxington, no. Maxington's the New Conservative Party. |

| Message | It is overwhelmingly capitalist and is restrictive, environmentally-sceptic, pro-war, firmly conservative and religious. Most people recognise their best chance of making a breakthrough here is by being a right-wing or neo-fascist party (hence why we have so many of them here). |
