Message | On behalf of the people of Dorvik, we condemn any bill that elevates a man who is not working over one who is. |

Message | The idea of nobility goes against everything human life should be about. We should start at the bottom, and work our ways to the top. Céline Schroeder State Chancellor Co-Leader of the Bright Alliance |

Message | OOC: I’ll explain once again that the use of titles and the existence of the Dorvish nobility is similar to Germany and Austria where nobility is still apart of the names and they maintain them to some degree. It doesn’t mean that they have any power but I’ve had this debate endlessly and it seems people cannot fathom that this does not mean an aristocracy. |

Message | I cannot understand the logic of those voting against this? It is simply allowing people to be granted the titles and use the titles. It doesn't come with money, or any such 'status' it allows those whose family have a title to pass it down and those that have done well in life to be rewarded with one. Message | Mr Simons, We don't have a problem with people having titles. We have a problem with these powers being embedded in government in any way. Titles are not currently outlawed, there is nothing preventing a private party from granting them. (OOC: SNP, this argument is nonsense. The current law literally states that the use of titles is not forbidden. You are proposing that we go from a situation where people can use titles to one where those titles convey political powers.) |

Message | You are truly failing to see the point, it can be designated by a public body, namely the monarchy that still exists in this country. They would be able to grant their title, and my deputy leader, Ms Wu, would be able to claim her family title. Erwin Simons, President of Unsere |

Message | Herr Simons, As our monarchy does carry the title of Head of State, it is not covered by our existing legislation. There is nothing preventing our monarch from granting titles, and nothing stopping people from claiming them. Granting additional political rights to the positions is a step in the wrong direction.
