Bill: Unity Proposal of 4332

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberal Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 4332

Description[?]:

I firmly believe that this cabinet proposal puts the most skills people together.

Prime Minister- Most seated party precedent I want to continue.

Science and Tech- Incumbent, no reason to remove.

Food and Ag- Incumbent, no reason to remove.

Env/Tourism- Incumbent, no reason to remove.

Trade/Industry- Incumbent, no reason to remove.

Foreign Affairs- Incumbent, no reason to remove.

Internal Affairs- Incumbent, no reason to remove.

Finance- I trust the Civics to take this from the socialists due to their success in some compromise budgets.

Defense- We need some diplomatic, but militaristic ideals in our defense department. I believe the RDA will follow this.

Justice- Incumbent, no reason to remove.

Infrastructure and Transport- The Rutania Party has some pretty weird views, however I trust that they will best represent whats best in this department.

Health and Services- RDA, I believe could be a good left-minded but a good compromise option on healthcare.

Education and Culture- The UDPR has been a long term center-right minded party, the type of values we need in education.

I am afraid that we must insist that any cabinet proposal in which we are to be included must allow us to occupy the Justice brief.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We have not had a judicial problem under our party's ownership of the position, and will seek to hold the position. If this government proposal fails, we are just as happy to continue being stable with our current government.

I am glad that the Liberal Party is grateful for the support that they received from our party. We will be mindful of this in the future.

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections.

Random quote: "My tenure will be controversial and it is, quite obviously, true that I am the most right-wing Prime Minister this country has seen in several decades.” - Margaret Woodhall, former Dranian politician
