Bill: Military Reform Act (2193)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Deltarian Nationalist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2194

Description[?]:

Article I: The military and police force should be combined into one unit. This will result in police officers having the same training as soldiers and the administration of the police and the military would be combined into one. Those soldiers in the newly formed Public Security Regiment would still be bound by the laws that state the weapons police officers may carry.

Article II: In future conflicts our nation should be allowed to use nuclear weapons (if we have the technology at the time) to settle in conflict that would cost our nation more men than a nuclear blast would cost the enemy.

Random fact: When your party holds the foreign affairs department, you can create new treaties. However, before writing anything new, it is a good idea to search for existing treaties which already accomplish what you desire.
