Bill: National Service Providers Act of 4333

Details

Submitted by[?]: Social Liberal Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 4333

Description[?]:

Let's claim back the sold assets of the National Service Providers, by paying a fair compensation to those that invested in them when they were privatized. Let's relaunch:

- LEG (Likatonian Electrical Grid)
- LNHS (Likatonian National Health System) <--- An ESSENTIAL part of our welfare state!
- LiPIP (Likatonian Public Internet Provider)
- Pre-school Education Department of the National Education System
- LNTS (Likatonian National Train Service)

The LNHS and public nurseries are essential parts of our welfare state and should have never stopped being free of charge for the user.

LiPIP and LNTS will prevent oligopolies to happen and will drive prices down (and those of the competition indirectly) when they become too high for everyone to access these basic services.

LEG will manage the whole national grid used by all electric companies in order to prevent any of them to creating a natural monopoly on electric distribution anywhere in Likatonia. It will charge these companies the costs of maintenance proportionally to their use of the grid. These costs will be lower than on a privately-owned grid because of economies of scale.

Then we have the government running the internet. You can say good bye to any privacy, and hello big brother.

MessageThe Conservative Party of Likatonia. The CPL's presidency refers to when the conservative party's candidate, who won the presidency. Perhaps you don't understand grammar; I'm having a hard time understanding why you don't understand, congressman.

MessageWell maybe you don't understand your mistake so i shall enlighten you. The Conservative Party of Likatonia is called and namned the Conservative Party of Likatonia or for short simply the Conservatives. Never in its history has it been called the "CPL". Only by you just now. If you are going around and making fictional namnes for others at least have the basic human decency to let them know before hand.

MessageYou're ignorance is truly astounding. Also, the Conservatives could refer to anyone with conservative views, such as the RCA, the CPL, or any citizen with conservative views.
You're claim that "Never in it's history has it been called the CPL," is an obvious lie, for this party has used CPL to refer to the Conservative Party of Likatonia on several occasions. However, no one is surprised by the RCA's willingness to needlessly make unsubstantiated claims, in selfish, corrupt attempts to misinform this Congress.

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass.
