Bill: Political Party Financing Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Constitutionalist Alliance

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4334

Description[?]:

This bill is a response to the recent incident where the Revolutionary Socialist Front has been repossessed by a financing agency for failing to repay its loan. It is estimated that the RSF defaulted on a loan 13000% of its total campaign donations. The firm has banned the party from voting in Congress to avoid potential conflicts of interest.

This bill will ban any political parties with seats in Congress from applying for loans which require collateral.

Random fact: Real-life organisations should not be referenced in Particracy, unless they are simple and generic (eg. "National Organisation for Women" is allowed).

Random quote: "Soldiers who are not afraid of guns, bombs, capture, torture or death say they are afraid of homosexuals. Clearly we should not be used as soldiers; we should be used as weapons." - Letter to the editor, the Advocate
