Message | Riccardo Morelli, Whip of LP: "Mr speaker, despite the tendencies of my party to the centralization, we cannot but vote in favor of this proposal which, most important thing, tries to reverse part of the wretched reform recently introduced, a measure to assure a dignitous wage. Because, my dear collegues, it is useless to say "if you work hard, you will gain a lot" when you are obliged to work like a slave for few crumbs "generously" given by your employers. It is easy to say "work hard" when you can count on a large heritage or you if had the opportunity, through the money of mom and dad, to study into prestigious school to become a professionist. The "hard work" is not the same for a professionist and a low skill worker, the professionist usually can dare to demand an adeguate wage, but a low skill worker cannot but accept the "generosity" of his employers. And everyone here should know very well that the "charity" and the "generosity" never helped a society to assist those more in needs. For this reason, basically, all your statement on the "free market" is based on the hypocrisy, on a lie which the history, 4 millennia of history, has disproved. Lies said simply to defend your privileged position and those of the lobbists who funds your parties and essentially lead your political action. Thank you" |

Message | Emilia Beroen, W&DL, ULD Oh, Mr Morelli, don't cry. Don't dramatize. If anything is useless, then it's whining about your financial situation. Now, I am not talking about you - well, not now - but about many people, like those on protests, shouting that they want to get a job or a higher wage. Well, if you do, then guess what; do it. Work hard, work hard and you will achieve whatever you want, even if you start with nothing. That includes education. You don't have to be employed by someone, you can start as your own boss, Mr Morelli, I hope that you know that. My father created an empire out of nothing; he couldn't afford university. He couldn't afford a home, he slept on the streets. And now? He's one of the richest Istalians! If you want to help someone, don't give them the fish, give them the fishing rod. |

Message | Riccardo Morelli: "Mr Speaker, we are before another ! It is the desire of everyone to be his own boss, but, respond to me: why the majority of the people is not in such situation? Maybe because without the necessary protection and legal incentive this cannot be achieved just to be confident in the "invisible hand"? Fortunately my family conditions offered to me the greatest opportunity, but, despite the millions if not billions of my family I have the eyes, which are not covered by the illusion of the "classical economy" but which can perfectly see millions that breack their asses to maintain with extreme difficultness their family without reaching the dignitous life level that we demand for our citizens. They are millions! But unfurtunately no all the furtunate guys of this world are able, or want, see the reality!" |

Message | Gianluigi Ricollo, PNI/PNP Speaker for Finance, The minimum wage is the main hurdle for young people to get a job. People are poor not when they work for low wages, but when they receive money from the government due to the lack of jobs, as what employer in their right minds would employ experience-less young people for jobs, of which the market value is lower than the minimum wage? No to minimum wage! |

Message | Riccardo Morelli: "Mr Speaker, let me just say to Hon. Ricollo that your first statement is the greatest idiocy I heard since long time... then, the basic needs of a person are the same indipendently by their skills Mr Ricollo. It is not the knowledge that definites if a person is worth to live a dignitous life, it is a right for every people!" |
