Message | Mr. Speaker, Who on Terra does the RCP believe this will benefit? This will allow big businesses to exploit their workforce and some people will die from over-working as a result of Article 1. It would be a stain on our great nation and the tiredness and illness this would cause would absolutely devastate productivity. Article 2, meanwhile, would just raise poverty. There needs to be some sort of guarantee of a decent and humane living standard for all and the minimum wage does just that. To take it away from people would be extremely unfair. Hard working people deserve a pay rise not a pay cut, we owe that to them. - Ella Parlow-Knight MD (Coal Cross) |

Message | Mr Speaker, It will promote economic growth, competition and wage growth as well. The Government does not need a working hours policy, people can freely enter contracts they wish too. We owe people nothing, pay is earned, not promised by a Government that does not have to pay it, or all the other costs associated with a job. Marquis Elad Weston Leader of the RCP |

Message | Mr. Speaker, To hear the head of government and leader of the second-largest party say "We owe people nothing" speaks volumes. - Ella Parlow-Knight MD (Coal Cross) |
