MessageNot our job to pay for college, even for low incomes. That is a state right, and states have the right to do community colleges n stuff.

MessageComrades,

We oppose. We favour a universal right to free education, not depending on income. While well-meaning, such a policy alienates middle and higher income families and creates resentment. Besides, means-testing introduces a need for costly (and usually ineffective) bureaucracy.

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature.
